WID Liberia offers four membership categories designed to recognize different levels of experience, expertise, and contribution within the development sector.
Founding Members are the first group of women professionals who joined WID Liberia during its establishment phase and contributed to laying the foundation of the network.
Eligibility
Selected through the inaugural Founding Membership recruitment process.
Demonstrated experience and contributions in development policy, research, programming, advocacy, academia, governance, or related fields.
Commitment to supporting the growth and strategic direction of WID Liberia.
Professional Members are women actively working across development sectors and seeking opportunities for collaboration, learning, visibility, and professional engagement.
Eligibility
At least 3 years of professional experience in a relevant field.
Demonstrated commitment to development practice and impact.
Willingness to actively engage in WID Liberia activities.
Expert Members are highly experienced professionals recognized for their technical expertise, leadership, research, consultancy, or specialized knowledge.
Eligibility
Significant experience and demonstrated expertise in a development-related field.
Proven record of technical leadership, research, policy influence, consultancy, or professional achievement.
Willingness to contribute expertise through mentoring, advisory support, peer review, or knowledge sharing.
Emerging Leaders are early-career professionals and young women demonstrating strong potential and commitment to development.
Eligibility
Student, recent graduate, or early-career professional.
Demonstrated interest in development, public service, research, advocacy, or social impact.
Commitment to learning, professional growth, and active participation.
Membership is curated to maintain the quality, credibility, and integrity of the network. Applications are reviewed based on professional experience, demonstrated contributions, leadership potential, and alignment with the values and mission of WID Liberia.
